John and the team did a great job remodeling my very outdated kitchen. The crew was helpful, insightful, and very easy to communicate with. The work is wonderful quality and really makes it look like an entirely new kitchen. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing a construction project done in the future.

I want to give a very high rating for Modern Domains for the recent work they did for me. They completely remodeled 2 bathrooms. They took the old tile floors and walls down to the studs and changed the dimensions of the rooms per our specification – and of course reworked the plumbing and electric. So it was a very complex project.
They worked patiently with our decisions on all issues including of course the tile and fixtures. Patty came on site and worked with us to develop design diagrams and make sure measurements were accurate. Patty made sure we ordered just enough tile because the tile vendor would not let us return extra tile.
Jeff and John’s son John worked on site each day and were very courteous to work with and they cleaned up every day. They made sure that one of the showers was always working during the renovation so that we always had a shower to use.
They really went above and beyond. For example – John made an effort to figure out how to save an adjoining linen closet. This required reworking an exhaust pipe for the hot water tank that came out of the basement into one of the bathrooms and thru the roof in the attic. They replaced the vent pipe to bring us up to code and replaced the roof shingles that were disrupted by the vent pipe replacement. Another vendor would have just eliminated the closet to make the project easier on themselves. Instead a very useful linen closet was preserved.
John is a very experienced person and has contacts with other vendors and thru him we engaged a different vendor to refinish our hardwood floors. The floor vendor did a great job as well.
We are very happy with the work Modern Domains has performed.

Working with John and Patricia has been a great experience. They follow detailed plans, weekly schedules and reviews and are attentive to the ever changing nature of a renovation.
